BUG SPRAY:  DO NOT FORGET IT!!   Get the strongest they have.  You will be outside a lot.  The chiggers & mosquitoes will carry you off  if you do not defend your self.  PS:  you sleep outside too!

Personal items:  TOOTHBRUSH!!  Toothpaste.  BUG SPRAY!  Flat bed sheet, full size.  Swiss army knife in belt carry case.  Small flashlight in belt carry case.  Compass in belt carry case.  Water bottle - insulated.

Spending Money: No money is necessary, but probably desired. A few dollar bills and quarters may be nice to have if want to purchase soft drinks or other items.

Merit Badge spending money:  you might need to buy a badge related kit, pay for skeet, etc., so please be familiar with the  requirements for the merit badges your son is taking.  Please ask questions if not sure.

Questions: If you have questions, call Sidney Carter on cell phone (703-7974).

Bikes: You may bring a bicycle if you would like to use it to get around at camp. However, you will not be allowed to ride it without a helmet.  If you have an old bike that you can still ride, it would be better to take it than your brand new one.

Parents Night: On Wednesday, June 20, they will have  Parent's Night.  You can join your son for the evening meal for $5.00. Be ready to tell Mr. Carter on Sun., June 17, if you plan to attend. A map is enclosed.

First Year Scouts Read the enclosed brochure on Adventure Quest. Also, it is suggested you put 1 set of Only: short/shirt, socks, underpants, & t-shirt (if desired) in a 1 gallon zip lock bag for each day.
